ColorThink Beta 2.2b17 - Single Color dropdown menu

Looks like some progress is being made on the single-color mode.

One new thing has cropped up (though you proably already are aware of it)…
The single color dropdown menu doesn’t update the name of the color.
It just sticks with the name of the last color that was successfully applied to the 3D map.

I have one other question pertaining to the beta and to previous versions when using Single-Color mode:
I notice that if I select single color mode, the majority of the plot is indeed at that specified color. However, it seems when the a* and b* values get closer to zero the specific single color I selected tends to turn white. Is this by design?
I supplied a screenshot (using oversized squares) showing what I see.
I have turned off the ‘Tone Using L*’ option.

In a slightly related question - why does saving a pict file generate a blank alpha channel in Photoshop CS2?

One final question: is there a plan to embed a specific RGB profile in the PICT files as we save them out of ColorThink?

OK, thanks. I think this should be fixed for the next release
