I’m using the wonderful ColorThink Pro to help get my head around Color Management and to review my scanner profile.
One thing I just can’t understand is, why an image scanned with the scanner profile applied and embedded (and not yet converted to a working space) should be able to map colors in ColorThink that are outside of said scanners profile gamut?
I have found this with a number of images.
Surely, if it is scanned and embedded with profile “x” all colors within the image must lie within profile “x”?
