Variations in LAB & DeltaE

Hello Everyone,

If I am printing spot colour & has a reference i measure its LAB & try to reproduce it on my machine. After mass production it is kept for drying LAB changes & deltaE value changes. Lamination/varnish will furhter shift my LAB & deltaE. My question is What LAB or deltaE should i keep during my production(wet printing) so that i will get exact results after drying, varnishing/lamination.

Perhaps the easiest solution (from one point of view) to this if you have the equipment is to send a profiling target through your entire system, including dry time and lamination/varnish. From the finished target, you create a profile which defines what your finished product looks like, and you can convert your images to that profile when printing.
